Material Gallery presents Grief Work, a multidisciplinary exhibition exploring grief as a layered, communal, and transformative experience. Featuring 53 local and national artists working across diverse media—including visual art, performance, film, sound, and poetry—the exhibition considers grief not only as loss, but as ritual, memory, care, resistance, and renewal.

Opening Friday, March 6, from 5:30–8 PM and on view through April 10, Grief Work invites audiences to reflect, connect, and hold space for sorrow as an essential and shared part of the human experience.
