The Mountains series is a tribute to the majestic Wasatch peaks and a quiet reminder of the mountains in my homeland, Yemen. From the jagged cliffs of Yemen to the majestic ranges of Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan—and now here in Utah—I’ve always lived near mountains. Their presence has followed me across continents, offering a sense of place and protection.
